Shame tells you who you are not.

Shame lies to you. It scoffs accusations:

You’re not good enough.

You’re not as important…as attractive…as smart…as talented…as valuable… or as significant as others.

Shame keeps you from hearing the Voice that tells you who you are.

The shame you have endured would be your conclusion, had God not concluded against it.

Declare in the face of your greatest shame:  “I refuse to live in your oppression any longer. God assigned Himself to my case. His fierce unconditional love declares, I am forgiven.  I am free!”

Now get on with the day and walk in greatness.
